Position Summary Essential Job Functions:
Implement, upgrade, and maintain the VMWare vCenter and ESXi infrastructure Maintain and troubleshoot Windows server systems at SGs various gaming datacenter locations Perform installation, upgrades, patches, and security remediation of Windows servers systems Develop, manage, and monitor backup and replication strategies Create diagnostic scripts to gather troubleshooting information Create automation scripts to automate routine task Assists in identifying systems, component or equipment failures and coordinates corrective action in cooperation with other company or vendor groups Create Visio diagrams and documentation of complex deployments Provide root cause analysis of major failures to management team Adhere to compliance requirements Other tasks as assigned Training and/or
Experience:
3-5 years supporting Windows systems Experience working with virtualization software on VMware/Hyper-V Experience troubleshooting Windows OS Experience developing policies and procedures for systems Mid-level certification in one of the following:
VMware, Windows, SQL, Cisco Education:
BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field (or commensurate experience) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and technologies such as , WMI, and Active Directory, DNS, and MS clustering Knowledge of PowerShell or Python scripting languages Intermediate SQL query concepts Strong knowledge of VMWare virtualization technologies Automation principles and the desire to improve the efficiency of daily operations Advanced knowledge of High Availability concepts Experience with system management tools such as Solarwinds, WSUS, Crowdstrike, VMWare vCenter. Strong knowledge of SAN technologies and administration (3Par.NetApp,Pure,FC/iSCSI) Must have working knowledge of engineering tools and methodologies Possess exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills. Above average computer and office application skills - power user level preferred Able to work well independently and as a member of a team Have the ability to work in a fast paced, high volume and stressful environment Ability to work under general supervision Must be able to obtain required gaming cards and licensing upon employment. A security investigation will be conducted. A drug test will be required before employment Physical Requirements:
Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, ability to distinguish colors. Ability to view computer monitors for extended periods.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product Management, Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
