Position Summary The Senior Sales Director is responsible for executing the organization's sales strategy and manage relationships for accounts as assigned. This role is also responsible for leading, coaching and inspiring sales teams including account managers to build positive relationships with customers and to drive sales to produce optimum profitability for an industry leading gaming company. Measure the existing markets and company's share, identify new markets, identify need for new products and expand market share with existing and new accounts. Develop sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Essential Job Functions:
Motivate and lead sales team by creating a culture of success aligned with ongoing business targets and goal achievement Sell to all licensed casinos defined within role, account list or territory. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings. Participate in closing strategic opportunities Define and coordinate sales strategies/training programs that enable account managers to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives Partner with the VP and SVP, Sales on account growth strategy and implementation Leverage sales data to measure the existing markets and company's share, identify new markets, identify need for new products and expand market share with existing and new accounts. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, quotas and other projections as required. Insure proper planning and evaluation of sales strategies to meet profit goals as a return on sales. Analyze sales numbers and trends in relation to objectives, targets and competitive activities. Participates in trade shows, sales meetings and other special events relative to business and/or company activities. Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees. Required
Experience:
Minimum of 10
years Sales or related revenue generating experience. At least 5 years of gaming or gaming related industry experience Minimum of five years in a management capacity relating to sales, finance, operations, product or project management, or similar management positions. Demonstrated skills in management and developing sales teams, territory and customer base. Preferred
Experience:
Proven sales results in a technology, travel and leisure, or gaming industry. Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or technical field required or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Leadership ability in a dynamic sales environment with the ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to create a results driven, team oriented environment. Relationship Marketing Ability to develop and deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences, including executives internally and externally. Critical thinking/problem solving CRM and relevant soft skills proficient. Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills and computer literate. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Thorough understanding of the budgeting process Ability to read, understand, and translate P&L statements and sales contracts Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment. Physical Requirements:
Heavy phone use. Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise on casino floors
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Sales Management & Operations, SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
