Job Description Coordinates and directs sales training programs for organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conducts studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs within organization. Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements inside the department budget. Confers with management to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualification and skills. Selects appropriate instructional procedures of methods such as individual training, group instructions, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulations exercises, role play and computer-based training. Organizes and develops training manuals, references library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational material. Trains as assigned in effective techniques, such as new sales, classes, on the job training, sales techniques, health and safety practices, management development, and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies in the respective department. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, Organization Development & TrainingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
