Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
A Director of Player Development increases gaming revenue by developing new customers, while maintaining loyalty of established customers, driving incremental visits and bringing new higher worth casino business to Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. ROLE AND
Responsibilities:
(INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING) Cultivate and generate new high worth casino players through telemarketing efforts, special events and networking. Identify marketing opportunities by promoting special events, incentives, promotions and conducting player development trips tailored by market or region. Review credit and authorize complimentaries. Use sound judgment in accordance with Westgate Resort and Casino's operational guidelines Must be able to make decisions and take action based on previous experience and judgment; and at times, revising procedures to accommodate unique situations. Qualifications PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to staff. Assign and instruct all personnel in details of work. Observe performance and encourage improvement. Monitor workload and make staffing adjustments accordingly. Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for other employees. Resolve complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and the most effective solutions. Make decisions and take action based on previous experience & judgment, sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations. Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of staff. Ability to deal with a number of problems requiring initiative and good judgment. Ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multiple interruptions, exercise judgment and adapt instructions/directions from one assignment to another. Supervise all staff including selection, training, counseling and discipline. Mathematical skills necessary to prepare forecasts, budgets, financial statements and perform calculations. Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system. Listen & respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice, answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information. TYPICAL PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 15 lbs. and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including:
computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone. Ability to stand, move and work throughout office area and property, including walking up to 2 miles, climbing stairs and sitting at desk workstation for the duration of the shift. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITION:
Work is performed in an office space environment including the casino floor. Work is performed on the casino floor; heavy customer contact required; and ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. Must be available to work all shifts within a work week with continuously changing scheduled. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 3 - 5 years Casino/Slot Host or Player Development experience in a major gaming operation EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Business Degree in Marketing, Business or Hotel is preferred. DESIRABLES:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
