SR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Job Description As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer, you will drive the Automation Quality Engineering strategy, process, and execution for the organizations ongoing Digital Transformation initiatives. This position will focus on collaborating with offshore remote teams over automation and integration testing of customer facing applications from end to end within an Agile and DevOps environment. Will work with Project team to advocate quality in the software development lifecycle; analyze product and technical user stories, as well as, requirements and functional and non-functional design specifications and create automated scripts. Develop and execute automated testing scripts/code and be responsible for their implementation into the various environments. Manage functional and automated testing process and test infrastructure in support of application development efforts. This position requires a self-motivated, dedicated, focused, detailed and methodical individual to combine the hands-on process knowledge of the QA function within the project lifecycle methodology; solid technical knowledge of software development environments and tools. Has a passion for testing, commitment to quality, lifelong learning, and contributes to overall team and company success. Another core responsibility will be to troubleshoot issues in test environments and coordinate downtimes in QA test environments to the affected groups.
Responsibilities:
Analyze business documentation and technical specifications for all applications under deployment or consideration, to determine its intended functionality to assist in testing. Work closely with Business, Project Managers, Development and Software Architecture team members to understand the system flows, processes, and back end architecture. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Rest, HTML, CSS, Robot Framework, BDD framework. Familiar with implementing design pattern approaches for test automation frameworks that are highly scalable. Design, develop, and execute automated tests for backend APIs, databases as well as UI across variety of browsers and devices. Strong experience working with Mobile testing and associated technologies (Appium, Cucumber, Azure App Center, Browser Stack, Firebase and etc. Experience testing and working in test driven development, continuous delivery (CICD) DevOPS pipeline (Preferably in Microsoft Azure DevOps). Deep understanding and application of Agile approaches and techniques, such as Scrum, User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Manual/Automated Testing, and supporting feature development through active participation in an Agile team. Collaborate with product teams to strategize & align long term solution for test automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach. Develop automation strategy to support regression testing based on technical analysis, complexity, and reusability. Recommend techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality. Contributing to the successful completion of work you're doing on time and within budget. Performing root cause analysis and helping solve technical issues. Champion automation and assist other QA team members through mentorship, tutorials, and writing scripts to speed up their manual testing efforts. Interacting and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences which includes offshore and onshore remote teams. Job Requirements

years of Automation Testing experience with leading large-scale projects. Solid experience using Selenium for Automation Testing and working within a Java environment. Proficient in Java API testing tools like Rest Assured. Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps best-practices preferred. Proven ability to develop frameworks with prior experience designing a plus. Possesses robust analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify, debug, and resolve technical issues. Exhibits strong leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work with business partners as well as internal and external technical teams including working with remote and offshore teams. Can articulate business requirements and objectives and translate those into software development solutions. Grasps new technologies and can adapt to rapid shifts in priorities as new tools are introduced. Technical background with experience in as many of the following a plus; TOSCA, Cloud/AWS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, qTest, ReadyAPI, Git/BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence. Building and maintaining automated test infrastructure. Building and maintaining reports and dashboard and communicate results to upper management. Experience testing custom client, web and mobile applications written in .Net, JavaScript, and Java, C#. Strong Experience in Analyzing product and technical user stories, as well as, requirements and functional and non-functional design specifications and create test cases, manual tests, and automated tests. Execute and maintain automation scripts and report the results to the project team. Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. Review test environment change requests and implementation plans to minimize chances of negative impact to QA environments and projects in testing. What You'll Bring / Skills:

Experience with testing web services and API. Experience with Azure DevOps Server, Test Manager, or other automation test tools would be a plus. Knowledge on gaming, hotel, food & beverage, retail business and operations. Experience with VMware tools to power on/off virtual machines (VMs). Exposure to .Net technologies, web services, stored procedures, and middle tier applications. Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or business administration or equivalent work experience. Work Conditions Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines. Sitting for extended periods of time. Some travel may be required for the purpose of off-site software and system applications testing.
