Lead Software Application Engineer (Remote)
Be part of the anti-money laundering group at Everi! Be part of the anti-money laundering group at Everi! Key Responsibilities Debugging, troubleshooting and production support. Most of the time, you will be customer-facing. Any field issue that can't be resolved by customer support you will log in to the customer's system and fix the issues. Lead the other, more junior Software Application Engineers. Manage requests from internal and external clients; gather technical details, document requirements, identify gaps, and provide solutions via e-mail, remote computer access, and phone. Exercises discretion and independent judgment in writing, designing, modifying, and implementing software. Manages deployment activities, including software version updates, bug fixes, patches, enhancements, installations, troubleshooting support, development and distribution of software guides, and remote management support. Resolve customer issues or difficulties aligned with best practices; ensure optimal levels of customer satisfaction and success. Interact with cross-functional teams resolving customer issues; delivering timely responses to customer inquiries. Serve as point of contact for communications with programmers explaining software errors and recommending improvement actions to the development teams. Performs hardware testing and software quality assurance/acceptance testing. Responsible for analytical reporting of vendor performance. Responsible for engineering custom solutions for clients, when appropriate. Maintains expert level knowledge of products and respective applications. Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise 8
years' experience working with software and hardware in a complex business and systems environment. Experience in managing people Knowledge in .NET, C#, WinForms, SQL Server is a must Advanced experience with product and systems installations. Demonstrated experience working with software development and deployment in a fast-paced system environment. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; consistently deliver projects and solutions in a timely manner. Project management and network experience in a technical capacity preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, operating systems and networks. Advanced understanding of CS fundamental and deployment of remote management tools and server administration.
