Job Description The IT Operations team is a 24x7 technical support organization within the Information Technology department. Systems Administration supervises the day to day operation of IT Systems Administration, which is responsible for software inventory, patching, application/OS deployment, and the overall health of our work communication systems. The IT Systems Administrator role is responsible for managing all of Systems Administration's processes and systems. The role acts as the owner of the Systems Administration tools and ensures that they remain operational and configured appropriately. In addition to daily management of Systems Administration personnel, the role also acts as an escalation point for in-depth troubleshooting of system issues. The Systems Administration Supervisor will coordinate with other members of IT to provide support to assist in troubleshooting or projects. The IT Systems Administration Supervisor will also be expected to consider current practices in order to develop innovative and reliable solutions that will continuously improve the service quality to the business. o Manage and supervise the daily activities and projects of Systems Administration, including training, coaching, organizing, and strategic planning. o Develop and review procedures for Systems Administration operating/procedure manuals. o Review and recommend enhancements to Systems Administration tools regarding versions and functionality available in add-ons or additional products in the suite, for the purposes of improving the automation, management and monitoring of all systems. o Evaluate technician and end-user needs, and ensure Systems Administration meets these needs. o Guarantee the functionality of all Systems Administration tools and systems, including OS/application deployment, patch administration, SharePoint, Exchange, Backup/Restore, and ServiceNow. o Provide reports and information as necessary for Compliance purposes. o Follow and adhere to internal IT Policy and Procedures as appropriate. o Perform other management assigned tasks as required Job Requirements o 4 years experience with Windows PC/Server and VMWare platforms o 2 years experience with enterprise management tools. (e.g. ServiceNow, SMS, and Microsoft Operations Manager or Microsoft System Center) o Direct experience with Patch Management processes. o Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WLAN/WAN, TCP/IP, ICMP, 802.1x authentication, 802.11 wireless networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RSA, proxy, certificates and FTP (SSL & SSH) and ability to remotely troubleshoot connectivity issues for end users. o Basic understanding of types of network and server equipment, like firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, blades, chassis, racks and SAN. o Knowledge of Active Directory and GPO management. o Database scripting and/or strong Excel/reporting skills o Some Experience with Linux, Mac OS preferred o Windows scripting skills (wscript, cscript, batch files) are preferred o Some knowledge of database administration, specifically SQL Server is preferred o Excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently o Above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills. Considered an out of the box thinker and displays a willingness to learn o Appropriate educational background in relevant subject matter o 3 years practical or hands-on experience in an Operations Engineer or Systems Administrator position o Relevant certifications (e.g. MCTS, MCITP, LPIC, VCP, ITIL, SANS) preferred o Experience in gaming, hospitality and retail systems is desirable. o Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision. o Candidates may be required to lift/move PCs and other IT equipment up to no more than 40lbs. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
