As a Hyperbaric Technician you will be joining a team of compassionate wound care specialists in positively impacting the patients' quality of life throughout their healing journey.
The Hyperbaric Technician is responsible for:
The safe and efficient operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related support systems as well as the safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to the hyperbaric patient Acting as a hyperbaric observer during treatments inside a pressurized hyperbaric chamber Responsible for ensuring that the hyperbaric observer is alert and attentive to patients Providing patient education and orientation about hyperbaric oxygen therapy Checking patient vital signs and updating patient chart Assist in the start-up and shut down of the facility Responsible for completing equipment maintenance on time Other related duties as assigned Requirements:
Current license or certification as applicable in state of practice in one of the following areas:
Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT); Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS); Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist (CHWS).
