Position Summary The Dishwasher is responsible for knowledge in sanitation specifications.
Duties include maintaining cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and safety of all kitchen areas.
Dishwashers must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Qualifications Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles Able to work in a fast-paced environment Must obtain a Food Handler Safety Training Card Understanding of kitchen equipment and its standard usage Essential Functions Sweep, scrub and mop the entire kitchen floor Scrub and remove all black stains from pots Scrub and remove all-day dot stickers from pans and plastic cambros Soak and scrub all cutting boards Scrub and clean all dirty pizza dough trays Scrub and wipe down cleaning area, including dishwasher, walls, shelves, and sinks Sweep, scrub and mop all walk-ins and freezer floors Scrub and clean all trash cans Scrub and clean all bus pans Soak and clean all coffee cups, glassware, dishware, and silverware Ensure no silverware is thrown away or put in with linen Handling all glasses, plates, bowls, and all other equipment very carefully Seeing that any reusable supplies are salvaged Taking care of all equipment Running dish and glass racks only when full Ensure the appropriate rack is used for glasses Remove all trash and boxes before the end of shift, all times of the day Make sure the dishwasher has been cleaned before the dishwasher you are relieving clocks out Every shift must clean the dishwasher just before leaving.
Clean and put away all food and cleaning supplies in storage areas.
Mop front and back walk-ins Make sure floors are swept before leaving shift Clean all doors.
Use cloth towels and soap to prevent scratching Take out the trash before the end of your shift Line mat to be cleaned Remove all mats and clean and mop floors When slow, wipe down walls in all areas Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, stoop, lift and bend for an eight-hour period.
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
