Supervises all activities associated with the construction of assigned projects.
This includes coordinating with a Team of Management, other Superintendents, Estimators and Subcontractors.
Duties:
Supervise all activities associated with the construction of assigned projects.
Verify all contractual scope of work and obligations of the projects are maintained.
Before the project begins, become knowledgeable of the project requirements and schedule.
Coordinating with the Management team and Field; to maintain agreed job schedule.
Monitoring project schedules; regarding submittals and approvals.
Identify and communicate possible delays or problems to project management team.
Organize detailing RFI process through formal RFI to customer and informal RFI's with the engineer, architect, and other design professionals.
Supervises project sequencing If issues arise, identify and resolve the problems in a way that will maximize production and minimize costs.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Education & Training HS Diploma or equivalent.
5-7 years related experience as a Construction Superintendent supervising projects in value of $5 MM - $50 MM+.
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering, or Business may substitute for 3 years of the required experience.
Specialized Skills Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design drawings.
Proven ability to manage high-end residential & commercial projects.
Knowledge in MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Project Job Type:
