While the expectation is not that he or she is an expert in their field, a desire to learn and improve their skills is extremely valuable in an installation helper.
An installation is an entry-level position, and an ideal candidate is a recent HVAC or plumbing trade program graduate.
The job requirements of an installation helper include:
Arrive on time, appropriately dressed, and ready to work Be able to work in a professional manner in a customer's home, in their attic, or on their roof Be trainable in Quality Control and City Inspections Visit job sites to ensure BEST quality standards have been met and ensure successful completion of city or county inspections Assist lead installers and installation specialists in completing a variety of projects, including tasks such as grabbing parts or tools and cleaning up once a job is nearing completion As an installation helper becomes more experienced, he or she will be required to help with jobs directly related to the project such as running piping, connecting gas lines, etc.
Keep an orderly and stocked work vehicle Use ServiceTitan to call homeowners, arrive and complete jobs, add notes to a job, and add payment to an invoice Complete payment from a variety of sources Learn the core values and mission and vision statements of BEST Air Conditioning Plumbing Repair and apply them to the projects they are assigned to work on Continual advancement through shop training, on-site training, and personal growth Job Type:
