Job Posting Title Technical Writer Summary Aristocrat is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Writer to join the Digital Asset and Workflow Team within Aristocrat Labs.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical writing skills and a strong understanding of software development concepts preferably on or with a team supporting SaaS applications or Collaboration tools such as Slack and Atlassian.
What You'll Do Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical specifications.
Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for Collaboration Tools.
Develop support guides, setup instructions, and usage documentation for common supported applications and tooling.
Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent with industry standards.
Organize and present complex technical information in an easily understandable format.
Conduct thorough research to stay updated on the latest Slack, Atlassian and GitHub features, best practices, and industry trends.
Edit, proofread, and review documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and clarity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and improve documentation based on user needs and requirements.
Explore the use of multimedia content, such as videos and interactive tutorials, to enhance the effectiveness of documentation What We're Looking For 3-5
years of professional experience as a technical writer, preferably writing documentation for SaaS applications or collaboration focused tooling.
Thorough understanding of software development and product lifecycle management Understanding of Slack and Atlassian Stacks from a support and end user standpoint.
Experience setting standards and best practices to globally distributed teams.
Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication, with exceptional attention to detail.
Demonstrates an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with multimedia content creation (videos, tutorials) is a plus.
Proficiency in using industry-standard documentation tools and platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
