Company DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Paralegal - Corporate Records & Document Management will be responsible for providing support to the General Counsel, Executive Director-Legal, Chief Privacy & Technology Counsel, and the Chief Corporate Counsel for Wynn Resorts, and their corporate affiliates.
Such duties shall include the following:
Prepare and file annual reports, notices, and related corporate filings in each jurisdiction of incorporation for Wynn Resorts and all corporate affiliates.
Maintain the company's corporate books and legal entity management system.
Review and maintain entity organizational documents and charts, and draft certificates certifying same.
Support all corporate governance processes, including preparation for annual shareholder meetings, board of directors and committee meetings.
Work effectively with other internal departments to facilitate the operations of the Department.
Manage day to day oversight of company's record management program and related policies, which may include assisting in the inventory, evaluation, and recommendation of proper systems; writing procedures and providing training; conducting inventories; documenting procedures used to create schedules; maintaining the computer system; and conducting legal research to determine retention.
Maintain Legal Department records as requested.
Draft response to routine correspondence and composes communications for routine events.
Provide back-up for other Legal Department support staff and/or paralegals.
Qualifications Must have at least 3 years of experience as a paralegal, working in the area of corporate records and information management.
Must be able to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
Must be able to handle a high pressure environment, possess excellent communication skills and phone etiquette, work well in a team environment, as well as work independently without much supervision.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills, work well under pressure and challenging deadlines, and pay strong attention to detail.
Must be experienced with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Pro, be familiar with entity management software, and be comfortable with upgrades and technology improvements.
A working knowledge of information management technology applications for information retention is preferred.
Must be 18 year of age or older.
