We are seeking a Grant Writer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to various organizations in order to secure funding for our nonprofit organization.

oConducting research to identify potential grant opportunitiesoCollaborating with program managers to identify funding needs and develop project proposalsoWriting, editing, and submitting grant proposals to various organizationsoMaintaining accurate records of all grant submissions and outcomesoBuilding and maintaining relationships with grant organizations and foundationsoStaying current on grant application guidelines and requirementsoParticipating in fundraising activities and other duties as assignedJob Expectations:
As a Grant Writer for a nonprofit organization, the following are the expectations:
oResearch:
Conduct thorough research on potential grant opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals.
This includes identifying grant-making foundations, analyzing funding trends, and gathering information on grant application guidelines and requirements.
oGrant Proposal Development:
Work closely with program managers and other staff members to develop clear and compelling project proposals that meet the funding guidelines and requirements of grant-making organizations.
This includes writing, editing, and submitting grant proposals that effectively convey the organization's mission, goals, and impact.
oRelationship Building:
Build and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations, foundations, and other potential funding sources.
This includes communicating regularly with grant-making organizations to understand their funding priorities, attending conferences and events to network with potential funders, and staying up-to-date on funding trends and opportunities.
oGrant Reporting:
Manage and maintain accurate records of all grant submissions and outcomes.
This includes tracking grant proposal deadlines, preparing reports for grant-making organizations, and communicating with program managers and other staff members on grant progress.
oFundraising:
Participate in fundraising activities and events to support the organization's overall fundraising goals.
This includes collaborating with other staff members to develop fundraising campaigns and events, identifying potential donors and funding opportunities, and supporting donor relations efforts.
Recommended Skills Communication Editing Fundraising Interpersonal Skills Project Planning Report Writing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
