VP Enterprise ApplicationsDescriptionEveri is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our Payments Management team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about adding business value through data analytics.
As a Data Analyst in the Payments Management team, your role will involve going beyond surface-level metrics and delving into the intricacies of statistical inference to identify meaningful connections.
You will be responsible for assisting with hypothesis testing, creating valuable data assets with robust business logic, and developing visually captivating dashboards that enable stakeholders to effortlessly track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Working alongside a diverse group of professionals from various departments, such as Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Operations, you will collaborate to deliver insights that contribute to improving products, reducing costs, and driving revenue growth.
Your analytical work will play a pivotal role in facilitating data-driven decision-making within the organization.
What Will You Be Doing? Respond to requests for assistance related to internally developed SQL processes.
Troubleshoot data-related questions by reviewing SQL procedures and identifying optimizations or advising processes from internal app development.
Collect and document requirements on Data development initiatives from business stakeholders.
Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering team to write SQL queries for ad-hoc inquiries or integration into store procedures.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment in designing and developing dashboards using Tableau or similar data visualization tools; customarily and regularly collaborate with internal teams to understand their requirements and create dashboards that effectively communicate insights and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Customarily and regularly identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Utilize version control tools to maintain a structured and organized workflow; collaborates with the development team and follow best practices to ensure proper documentation, testing, and deployment.
Apply forecasting techniques to identify patterns, seasonality, and trends in time-dependent data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute hypothesis testing.
Evaluates and provides actionable recommendations based on the outcome.
Provide mentoring to other team members.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
5-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, focusing on the creation of complex T-SQL and troubleshooting Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency in data asset creation using SQL/Python.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools.
Proficiency in SQL.
Entry-level in Python.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.
g.
, Git).
Understanding of statistical analysis and AB testing methodologies.
Knowledge of forecasting techniques such as time series analysis.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $73,900 - $83,300 annually.
