This position will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Stations and Safety/Security leadership, as it relates to auditing and compliance to Stations and Safety/Security policies.

Experience:
oMinimum three (3) years of customer Service / Ground Operations Agent experience.
oMinimum one (1) year of auditing experience.
oAbility to facilitate individual and group discussions comfortably and effectively.
oPossess excellent problem-solving and structured thinking skills.
oAbility to develop materials and provide creative solutions for operational and leadership improvement.
oAbility to proficiently operate MS Word, AIS applications, MS Excel, Power Point.
oPossess experience in technical writing or 'Simplified English'.
oAbility to remain current in Allegiant Air Station's policies and procedures.
oAbility to work independently under general supervision with well-developed planning and organizational skills.
oAbility and willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, occasionally on short notice.
oAbility to attend and successfully pass required training.
oHeavy travel (90%).
oAbility to work in a variety of environments including, but not limited to, office, airport, indoor and outdoor.
Subject to extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
oAbility to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job.
oFamiliarity with SMS requirements, with emphasis on Safety Assurance.
Preferred RequirementsoCollege degree.
oAirline industry auditing experience.
Job DutiesoPlan and develop audit travel and pre-audit preparation in accordance with the FAA accepted Safety Manual (SAFE).
oPrepare audit scopes and activities as necessary, including, but not limited to, safety, administrative, above and below wing aircraft handling, aircraft loading, security, deicing, environmental health and safety and into plane fueling activities.
oPerform scheduled and special audits, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting findings and concerns.
oEnsure functional audit areas are satisfactorily observed and identified issues are documented throughout the audit process.
oEnsure ongoing communication with applicable local leadership while performing audit activities.
oPrepare and deliver verbal outbriefs of all audit non-conformities to applicable local leadership.
oDocument and submit formal reports of all audit non-conformities to applicable local and corporate management level personnel in a timely manner.
oEnsure completion of all applicable audit corrective action plan responses within the approved electronic SMS recordkeeping system.
oEnsure ineffective or overdue corrective action plan responses are promptly escalated and addressed, as required.
oMaintain and update internal audit files.
oAssist the Manager of Station Quality Assurance with the development of supplemental audit and/or training material, as needed.
oProvide on-the-job training oversight of trainee auditors as needed.
oPerform safety assurance validations of corrective action responses to various regulatory programs.
oPerform ad-hoc station observations or inspections at the request of applicable leadership.
oInterface with FAA CMO (Certificate Management Office) Aviation Safety Inspectors, as needed.
oMaintain open communication and provide ongoing feedback to the Manager of Stations Quality Assurance.
oPositively represent the Allegiant brand through continual professional demeanor and appearance.
oOther duties as assigned.
