Brightline is pleased to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, and the opportunity to make a difference while making history as the only privately funded express train service in the country!SUMMARY The primary role of the Senior Vice President - Infrastructure Construction is to coordinate all aspects ofconstruction for the civil works, track, systems and signaling packages of the project in meeting the budgets and schedules.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Manage the construction for all aspects of individual construction packages including budget, schedule, day-to-day project management, overseeing site logistics and field construction through project close-out.
Coordinate with the design and engineering team(s) ensuring cohesive interface amongst all packages.
Manage Vice Presidents of respective packages and supervise the quality, timeliness and quantity of their work.
Relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
Assure construction work is accomplished through the highest of safety standards.
Drive exemplary quality standards into the construction.
Responsible for updates and maintenance of contract standards with legal and risk management.
Diligent and disciplined control of change management with a focus to claims prevention.
Oversee the development of processes and control measures that enable the monitoring of construction progress with regards to budget, scope and schedule.
Lead the maintenance of orderly and complete job documentation, job costing files and regularly generate reports on project status.
Maintain competent staff by actively participating in hiring decisions and conducting regular constructive performance evaluations of all project personnel.
Review monthly reports including commitments to date, forecasts to completion, invoices received and issued, and take the necessary action when required.
Effectively and frequently communicate project status with executive management.
Manage and assist with coordination of all applicable agencies especially Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and CalTrans.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Operate within a cohesive senior management team environment.
Lead the team of internal and external construction resources to achieve successful outcomes.
Strong negotiation skills for a variety of items.
Clear set up of expectations and creating win-win situations.
Proficient financial analytical skills commensurate with this scale of project.
Demonstrate willingness and positive attitude coordinating with teams.
Follow through to complete all work per the contracts.
Keep current on trends and events in design and construction issues.
Proficiency in implementing and creating critical path master schedules.
Take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
REQUIRED OR PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Minimum 20 years' experience working in the field of civil and transportation construction.
Rail experience is a plus.
Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management.
Supplemented by business or finance degree(s) is a plus.
Demonstrated experience on at least one mega-project valued in excess of $1 billion.
Experience in alternative forms of project delivery such as design-build within a Public-Private Partnership (P3).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
