Company DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Electronic Records Analyst is responsible for implementing the Records Information Management and Retention program technical tools, systems, and practices.
Working with the legal and privacy teams to ensure compliance with all records management practices and disposal regulations.
Job
Responsibilities:
Performs complex analytical or interpretive tasks.
Applies specialized technical skills as an independent worker under minimal supervision.
Designs, evaluates, reviews, recommends, creates, implements, updates, and maintains IM-related information technology systems under direction of supervisor.
Responsibilities may include maintaining the computer system.
Coordinates conversions of active IM systems.
Develops and coordinates correspondence and reports control programs.
Assesses information flow for workflow analysis and planning.
Provides active IM systems training.
Assesses equipment and space needs.
Writes procedures for new applications.
Implements retention schedules and creates destruction notifications for approval; works closely with departmental representatives and Records Analyst to review materials and gain approval for destruction of electronic records.
Maintains knowledge and awareness of industry trends, methods, and technologies related to inactive IM.
Maintains information systems and procedures to facilitate orderly electronic information retention and disposition.
Acts as a liaison between departments and the records center on retention and disposition of electronic records.
Maintains and implements equipment for protection of electronic records.
Establishes data rotation procedures for all electronic media stored onsite and offsite.
Qualifications A bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of two years of college, including specialized courses in IM, and IT, and two to four years of experience in creating IM systems is required.
A working knowledge of retention guidelines and relevant IM technology applications for information retention is required.
Familiarity with ISO 15489-1:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
