Job DescriptionThe Veterinarian will be responsible for providing complete medical care for animals.
You will be responsible for examining animals and diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications and treatments, performing surgeries, providing vaccinations, and providing preventative care.
You will also be responsible for educating clients on animal care and nutrition.
The Veterinarian will work to ensure that the highest standards of animal care are met in our office.
Responsibilities:
Examine animals and diagnose illnesses, diseases, and injuries.
Prescribe medications, treatments, and surgeries.
Provide vaccinations and preventative care.
Perform surgeries, including spay and neuter.
Educate clients on animal care and nutrition.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Keep up to date with advancements in veterinary medicine.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
Requirements:
DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Veterinarian, Associate Veterinarian certification.
0-10 years of work experience in a veterinary office.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases.
Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnose illnesses.
Knowledge of animal nutrition and preventative care.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
