Our private general dental practice in Summerlin is looking to add an assistant who loves what they do as much of us and enjoys doing it in a state-of-the-art practice.

An ideal candidate would have a keen attention to detail, be goal-oriented, dependable, self-motivated, and have exceptional customer service, and able to multi task.
Additional skills a candidate should be comfortable performing include but are not limited to; Knowledge of dental terminology.
Knowledge and compliance of Infection Control and OSHA guidelines.
Computer skills; we use Excel, Windows 7, Open Dental, Dexis experience not required although would be helpful Commitment to CE for career development, and monthly staff training.
Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments.
Good communication skills and ability to maintain effective rapport with the patient, dentist, and other staff members.
Make exceptional temporaries in a timely manner.
Take quality dental xrays.
Comfortable taking and recording treatment information in the patient's chart.
Providing post op instructions prescribed by the dentist.
Take exceptional impressions, pour, trim, and polish study cast.
Comfortable explaining the need for treatment with a patient.
Commitment to providing quality patient care and customer service.
Ability to work in a team-like setting while working cooperatively and collaboratively with others to achieve goals by sharing ideas, knowledge, support, resources, responsibility, and recognition.
Commitment to the future growth of the office.
Punctual, presentable, and reliable while having a quality track record with previous employers.
Able to provide references.
High School degree or the equivalent.
