RN Staff Development Educator
POSITION
Summary:

Responsibilities:
o Work with staff, department heads, and facility Administration to identify and understand the educational needs of the facility staff.
o Develop and implement educational programs to address these needs and participate in developing programs designed for on-the-job training and orientation classes for newly assigned department personnel.
o Manage clinical competencies and coordinates both general and clinical orientations.
o Attend and participate in workshops, seminars and in-services to keep abreast of current changes in the health care field and to maintain a professional status.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
o Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably a BS in Nursing o Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state (as required) o Adult education experience preferred o Must have 3-5 years of nursing experience
