Position
Summary:
Technical Sales Assistant provides design assistance to the Sales Engineers and engineering accounts, systems application and is an extension to outside sales representatives.
Variety of tasks not limited to; equipment selection, job pricing, creation of bid projects, producing submittals follow up and site visits.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Interact and work closely on daily basis with outside sales engineers and reps, customers, consultants, as well as with internal employees Provide support assistance to outside sales reps Work along with other departments, bid desk, sales engineers, contractor sales reps, to ensure approved submittals, perform presentations and training, as necessary.
Provide quotes to customers and respond to customer inquiries, job follow up, jobsite visits and conflicts with equipment selected.
Critical Knowledge and Skills:
Analytical skills Exceptional communication and customer service skills Detailed orientated Multitasking and organizational skills a must Good judgment and planning skills HVAC Carrier Product Knowledge is preferred Knowledge of Carrier software (Quote Pro, Sage, HVAC Partners, ECAT, vendor websites) is preferred Work independently with minimal supervision in fast paced work environment Review, evaluate and make suggestions and product recommendations to customers as well as provide technical support when needed Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Education and
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years of HVAC product knowledge and sales experience Russell Sigler, Inc.
