Revenue Manager

The primary objective of the Revenue Manager is to manage demand to maximize revenue and profit.
This includes adhering to the revenue management strategy to meet and/or exceed the revenue goals for the resort to include room revenue and ancillary revenue centers.
In addition, the Revenue Manager will be responsible for interfacing with Resort Services, assisting in the set-up, maintenance, and oversight of the property management and revenue management systems and strategies.
This key role will support Revenue Management team and mission to optimize profits through all revenue streams and channel distribution.
Make timely and accurate pricing determinations and inventory updates for both Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place.
This will include Duetto, TravelClick, GDS, PMS rate and room inventory maintenance; pace and production tracking; all systems' maintenance related to hotel information and room and rate allocations and evaluating and implementing changes to maximize revenue.
This role is also responsible for four critical aspects of property revenue management including market analysis, demand forecasting, inventory management and pricing.
The Revenue Manager overseas the hotel's competitive presence in all Distribution Systems.
Helps lead the overall revenue strategy for the hotel to drive maximum occupancy, Average Daily Rate, and Revenue Per Occupied Room.
The Revenue Manager performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and assumes other responsibilities, duties, tasks and assignments that contribute to the mitigation or response to any public health emergency.
Contributes to customer retention and continuously increases customer loyalty levels through problem resolution, customer interaction escalation handling and mentoring supervisors to be well informed, courteous, warm, gracious and helpful.
Conduct weekly revenue management meetings and facilitate selling directives decision making process.
Implement all yield strategy decisions at all reservations sources.
Create/update all reservation source databases (rates, general information, cancellation policies, etc.
) Monitor information/rates and oversee competitive shopping surveys in all reservation sources.
Update selling directives regularly and provide direction outlining what inventory to push, what is soft, what is selling, what rate resistance is detected, etc; complete selling calendar.
Liase with Call Center, Sales and Marketing regularly regarding sales/marketing initiatives Monitor and analyze business mix based on changing demand cycles and trends.
Manage all overbooking situations.
Monitor group blocks and individual business on the books for maximum pick up and yield Compile and analyze weekly/monthly reservation source reports (voice, GDS, Internet, etc,) Leverage suite inventory types to the maximum revenue potential Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years in a hotel/casino call center servicing large properties.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in revenue management or reservations for a hotel or resort.
Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.
Must be a quick learner and adapt to a dynamic, fluid working environment Must be extremely detailed oriented and have a high degree of problem-solving abilities Minimum of two years in the following Hotel Departments:
Hotel Operations, Analytics, Revenue Management, Distribution (maybe a combination of one or multiple departments) Expert level skills with MS Office Productions and with LMS Willing to work on developing and managing key relationships across the organization and within clientele At least 21 years of age Prior gaming experience is highly recommended Technical comprehension of managerial applications pertaining to reservations, group reservations and revenue systems.
Experience developing and implementing effective plans to maximize market rooms revenue.
Develops reporting and synthesizes data, insights, and consumer research Identifies business requirements and collaborates with IT and partners Knowledge of Duetto or other revenue management systems preferred.
Must be a high energy individual with a positive attitude who is guest service and team oriented.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics.
Ability to effectively analyze and use operational, financial, and marketing data to maintain and improve market share/penetration goals.
Ability to work well under deadline pressure and adapt quickly to a constantly changing market.
