(Semi-Remote) Development Accountant A prominent Real Estate development firm located in Manhattan is seeking a Development Accountant with experience in handling the accounting and reporting for several large development projects.

Remote 2 days a week!
Responsibilities:
Process, track and submit construction draw requests for multiple projects.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
Manage project budgets and anticipated cost reports.
Prepare and maintain cash flow for assigned projects.
Maintain accurate monthly job cost reports.
Process and distribute payments to general contractors.
Prepare monthly and year end closing and associated workpapers.
Assist with preparation of GAAP basis financial statements.
Process corporate accounts payable invoices and review for proper coding.
Assist with year-end audit.
Experience/ Requirements:
2
years of relevant experience at a reputable real estate company handling real estate development and construction projects.
Preparation of construction draws and bank requisitions.
Understanding of the month-end and year-end closing process.
Knowledge of GAAP reporting.
Strong and effective communicator.
Highly organized.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Working knowledge of Yardi, Timberline or comparable software is a plus.
Compensation:
$90,000 - $105,000 plus bonus, 401K match and comprehensive health benefits.
