Senior Service Center Logistics Manager

As our Service Center Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations for the service warehouse, including receiving, stocking, inventory management, shipping, and other warehouse-related activities.
You will also plan, develop, and improve warehouse processes within our service centers.
Additionally, you are responsible for hiring and developing the service center teams across the network.
You will be responsible for assisting us in transitioning to a more production-ready company.
Responsibilities Developing a strategy for making sure all our materials are delivered on time to our internal customers at the most efficient cost during a high-growth environment - Base Operations Develop existing service center team and play an active role in hiring activities to grow the team.
Establish the process to operate and maintain in optimum condition our warehouse equipment.
Develop and implement the safety guidelines to ensure team safety Develop standardized work processes within the warehouse Manage day-to-day operations of warehouse activities, including receiving, kitting, and cycle counting within multiple facilities Support in the monitoring and management of budget forecast and performance against forecast; develop and implement corrective actions when performance is not in line with budget Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure continuous improvement in cost, service, and quality Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Logistics is providing high-quality service.
Including, but limited to, Zoox Logistics, Engineering, Service Operations Travel to our different service centers 20% - 25% (San Francisco, CA & Foster City, CA) Qualifications BA/BS Degree & 8
years of relevant experience Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and commute to different warehouse locations - must be flexible Strong work ethic; able to independently own and drive projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Team development and customer service experience 2
years of experience managing direct reports Bonus Qualifications Background in automotive/fulfillment operations Warehouse operations experience Experience with WMS systems Compensation and BenefitsThere are three major components to compensation for this position:
salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $164,000.
A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package.
Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level.
Leveling and positioning within a level are determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
The salary range listed in this posting represents the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
