Facility Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager for multi-units that will oversee the maintenance and safety of the facility, equipment and oversee daily administrative operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the safety of the property and maintaining compliance in accordance with local government entities such as the Building, Fire, Health, EPA, ADA and OSHA departments.
Responsible for any work that is conducted in house or contracted that is performed follows the local code set by the governing entities listed above.
Responsible for work performed to be done in timely manner and is coordinated with any department that it might affect with the least amount of disruption to our customers or employees.
Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, developing, and disciplining department staff.
Prioritize and delegate department workload and ensure that the utilization of the department resources are maximized.
Oversee and communicate with supervisory staff to ensure all areas within the department are operating smoothly, safely and efficiently.
Maintain a strict preventative maintenance program.
Coordinates Housekeeping, to ensure that all operational processes are followed and manages special projects as assigned.
Inspects to ensure that quality maintenance processes are followed.
Ensures timely verbal and written communication and recognizes and rewards excellent performance in the moment as possible.
Identifies process/procedural improvements that will lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness of operations and cost cutting initiatives.
Plan work, schedule staff and vendors, supervise work order execution.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, building management, or related equivalent experience.
Must have general maintenance experience, preferably from a hotel.
Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
Ability to maintain basic records and warranties.
Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.
Able to use sound judgment, work independently, with minimal direction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes.
Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting(up to 50-70 pounds), reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
