Operation Test Infrastructure Support Engineer with Security Clearance

Provide the AFOTEC Det 6 Infrastructure Branch with a full-time Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience related to test support in at least two of the following four fields:
air to air & air to ground combat Modeling and Simulation (M&S), M&S accreditation plans and reports, foreign material exploitation, work with establishing or expanding DOD Special Access Required Network Systems.
Primarily focusing on planning, executing and reporting on new capabilities for the F-15, F-16, F-22, and F-35 test teams within AFOTEC Det 6.
Experience with the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) is highly desired The JSE is a government owned high-fidelity simulation capability designed for testing modern combat platforms including F-35 BLK 4 and F-22 Capabilities Pipeline and is comprised of 1) a software battlespace environment that is highly extensible, modular, and builds on a solid foundation of existing DoD modeling & simulation technologies 2) a physical computing infrastructure that implements the battlespace 3) One or more ownerships that constitute the system under test (SUT) 4) Cockpits and visual display systems that provide the pilot interface 5) Planning/control/briefing rooms that facilitate mission execution and 6) An overarching facility that securely contains all of the above and the manpower to operate it Open Air Battle Shaping (OABS) is a capability integrating live aircraft with virtual/constructive participants/entities.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the AFOTEC Det 6 infrastructure branch with developing and managing Test Capabilities.
Activity will include developing, coordinating, submitting, responding to inquiries with internal and external organizations/agencies, and tracking test capability completion.

Citizenship is required.
A Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program plus 18 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 10 years of experience is required.
Active Top Secret Clearance.
One well-qualified candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DOD air-to-air and air-to-ground modeling and simulation.
The candidate will need aircraft and weapons knowledge.
The candidate will ideally have a baseline knowledge of JSE and OABS and experience developing accreditation plans, reports and other formal technical documents for/within the DOD.
The candidate will ideally have experience with foreign material exploitation.
