Responsibilities:
Master the full spectrum of histotechnician duties, including routine and non-routine specimen preparation, special stains, and IHC testing.
Leverage your expertise to optimize workflows and implement new technologies.
Lead and mentor other histotechnicians, students, and lab aides.
Contribute to quality control and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to all regulations.
Take initiative, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
ASCP certification in Histotechnology is required.

years of experience as a histotechnician, with demonstrable proficiency in complex tasks and special stains.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Passion for quality and dedication to continuous learning.
Experience with gross tissue examination (high complexity testing) is a plus.
