SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesJOB SUMMARY -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES o Network Engineer responsible for selection, configuration, and installation of LAN, WAN and security related network infrastructure equipmento Responsible for Tier 3 technical support across various Voice, Video and Data (VVD) systems and Long Haul (WAN) system, including various network manufacturers and configurationso Constructs and manages network documentation including but not limited to functional/logical diagrams, best practices, reference guides, compliance checklistso Research and review third-party systems/applications to improve network operational and maintenance capabilitieso Coordinate with System Administrators on Data Center infrastructure and system integrationo Provide and review documentation in accordance with DoD and various other organizations to ensure continued security complianceo Collaborate with project management teams, civil engineering, and other entities for facility and network system integrationo Perform data recovery and backup of networking and associated security systemso Interfacing with commercial and DoD carrier services and managing the system interconnectsDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS o Exposure to firewall, VPN and network encryption/security devices desired (Any vendors; Palo Alto, Cisco, General Dynamics as examples)o Exposure to various network security compliance regulations desired (examples:
RMF and ICD 705)o Network Certification desired (CCNA or higher)o IT Security Certification desired (DoD 8570 compliance -- examples:
CompTIA Security+, SANS, etc)REQUIREMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE An associate's degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of 7 years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field are required for this positionIn addition, a Field Engineer II must possess the following
Qualifications:
o Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and familiarity with related engineering fields o Practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures and to prepare or make minor modifications of standard test procedures or test equipment work instructions o Effective verbal and written communication skills o Planning/organizational skillsSALARY The expected salary range for this position is $60,320 to $95,680 annuallyNote:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
