Full-Time/Part TimePOSITION
Summary:
It is the primary responsibility of the PORTER to maintain the cleanliness of the property, both indoors and outdoorsAll duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and proceduresPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Maintains the highest standards to ensure the quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices and other required areas. Provide guests of Downtown Grand timely assistance with their inquiries and must be knowledgeable of property outlets and events Keeps the assigned areas maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures. Cleans between slot machines, removes papers, glasses, debris, and discards all empty bottles. Wipes down all slot machines, TITO Ticket Machines, slot banks, gaming tables and all other surfaces in assigned areas. Keeps assigned area clean of debris and trash removed. Empties and cleans ashtrays/urns and trashcans. Keeps all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks. Vacuums all carpeted areas in assigned work station. Cleans all bathrooms in assigned areas outlined in job procedures and as trained. Reports emergencies and maintenance needs to Supervisor. Assists other areas as needed. Clean-ups bio-hazards according to proper procedures. Performs all other job related duties as requested. Ability to work indoors in all environments including smoke and dust and ability to work outdoors in all environments including heat and cold and weather. Be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds and pull carts/hampers weighing up to 300 pounds. Must be able to communicate in English in both oral and written form. Performs other duties as assigned. Required:
Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, climbing and kneeling. Work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard to reach and unclean work areas, cigarette smoke, and hazardous materials and equipment. Excellent guest service skills. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. High School diploma or equivalent. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Preferred:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
