Company Description Job Description Wynn Resorts is a Fortune 500 company in the hospitality industryCurrently operating in the top two casino gaming markets in the world, Wynn is financially stable and growth orientedOur 12,000 employees at our Wynn Las Vegas and Encore properties have helped us win more Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the worldWynn Resorts is known for innovative design, luxury offerings, and exceptional guest serviceJoining Wynn means working for a leader in the global resort industry, one that has set today's standards and will likely define them tomorrowWynn Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled, passionate and experienced learning and development professional who would be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating all hotel division training initiativesThe primary goals for this role include (1) support department training managers and on-the-job trainers to ensure consistency of Wynn standards is upheld, (2) analyze guest and employee feedback for trends and design custom learning interventions, (3) work in partnership with the L&D Team to ensure continuity in leadership development efforts and Wynn service trainingResponsibilities Ensures Wynn's standard of excellence is consistently upheld across all hotel department training initiativesApplies adult learning theory and processes to create impactful soft-skills training, departmental training materials, new hire training schedules, job aids, evaluations, and eLearning materialsAnalyzes trends in the division's overall effectiveness and collaborates with department leaders to design custom learning interventions using the ADDIE modelManages the Learning Management System (LMS) for all hotel-related online learning (managing audiences, tracking completions, launching courses, maintaining up-to-date content)Develops high-quality aesthetically engaging eLearning using the Articulate 360 product suiteFacilitates leadership development programs with the partnership and support of corporate L&D teamCreates, facilitates, and evaluates hotel division train-the-trainer programParticipates in hiring process for department training positions, oversees the successful onboarding of any department trainerMonitors and evaluates the effectiveness of all hotel department training programs through knowledge and performance assessments and provides recommendations for improvement as neededSupervises, coordinates, and tracks attendance at all mandatory company-wide training eventsConsults and collaborates with Wynn Resorts training partners to share best practices and resourcesEngages in self-directed work, creates and maintains timetables for multiple concurrent projects, manages competing deadlines, and responsibly manages resourcesLeads by example through consistently embodying Wynn culture, values and service standards, facilitates with enthusiasm and credibility for both frontline and leadership audiencesReports to the Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations & GM Performs additional responsibilities as needed or requestedQualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality or related field and at least 5 years of training/facilitation experience and hotel/casino operations experience (or an equivalent combination of training, education and professional experience)1-3 years management experience in Hospitality or Hotel OperationsDemonstrated ability to develop curriculum for various audiencesDemonstrated ability to create impactful leadership development and engaging learning solutionsincluding instructor-led, classroom and on-the-job approaches that achieve measurable resultsUnderstands the strategic relationship of training in the support of achieving the stated mission of the businessWell-versed in Adult Learning Theory and how to engage adult learners using a variety of modalitiesProficient with training needs assessment, creative instructional design, and measuring outcomesMust have exceptional communication and facilitation skills, both verbal and written, with the proven ability to communicate to all levels of the organizationCandidate should possess feedback skills at all levels; ability to push back and challenge status quo in and out of the classroom as well as give strong motivational feedbackStrong and effective decision maker with ability to influence outcomesProactive self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities as well as meet deadlines under pressureMust have expert working knowledge with Microsoft Office software to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PublisherAbility to compile data across multiple Excel files and analyze data for trends over timeAbility to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships at all times with staff, outside departments/vendors, property executives, and guestsCandidate must maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding guests and staffCandidate must model professional demeanor and conduct oneself with integrity and accountability at all timesMust be able to work a flexible work schedule to support a 24/7 operationMeet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policiesMust model the ideal professional and polished appearance required by company guidelinesMust be 21 years of age or olderPreferred Qualifications 5

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
