THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Room Service Dispatcher to expedite distribution of room service amenities, and all orders to food servers in a timely manner.
Must keep a clean workstation and ensure guest satisfaction.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Efficiently distribute orders to Food Servers and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely preparation and pickup via Micros computer system Handle incoming calls in a professional manner, taking orders and addressing inquiries promptly and courteously Maintain detailed logs of food service runs for payroll and budgeting purposes, ensuring accuracy and completeness at the end of each shift Provide expedited service to guests in emergency situations, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills Address guest inquiries with courtesy and accuracy, informing them of delivery times when necessary Foster positive working relationships with Food Servers, Runners, Bus Persons, and other team members to ensure smooth operations Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times to maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform other job-related duties as requested MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Two (2) years of prior relevant experience THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Six (6) months cashier/order taking experience One (1) year customer service experience Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression Can handle multiple tasks at one time THE PERKS &
