Network/Telecom Engineer
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesJOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES o Experience with design, implementation, testing and maintenance on network and telecom equipment and systemso Performs as network lead on network field engineering assignmentso Requires experience across different types of networking equipment and associated technologieso Strong understanding of WAN/LAN systems used to transmit voice, data and video across digital and fiber optic WAN/LAN infrastructureo Ability to design and implement solutions in accordance with commercial network standardso Experience with network layers 2/3 o Experience with commercial carrier services and managing the system interconnectso Ability to manage, troubleshoot and repair physical logical network infrastructureDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS o Experience with CISCO network equipmentREQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE An associate's degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the specialty field are required for this positionIn addition, a Field Engineer III must possess the following

o Broad knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of engineering that enable senior technical contributor-level performance on complex projects or programs o Knowledge and skill sufficient to apply developments in engineering to solve problems in the specialty area o Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs o Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Planning/organizational skillsSALARY The expected salary range for this position is $83,200 to $124,800 annuallyNote:
