Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic- Structures with Security Clearance

Position
Responsibilities:
o Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
o Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
o Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
o Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
o Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
o Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.
g.
, repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
o Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
o Oversees training.
Works under general direction.
Required Skills:
o Experience with aircraft maintenanceo Close tolerance Drilling Preferred Skills:
o Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15)o Security Clearance within the past 2 yearso Modification Experience Recommended Skills Aerospace Industries Aircraft Maintenance Electrical Installation Work Hydraulics Regulatory Compliance Test Equipment Apply to this job.
