Essential Functions: Study and rehearse roles; in order to entertain, comment and hold conversations on the following points.
Work closely with management, mayor's administrative staff and consultants to stay current on interpretation of current and past
events
suited for this role.
Collaborate with other Ambassador Broads (AB) as part of supporting the ensemble.
Perform humorous and serious interpretations of emotions, actions, and situations, using body movements, facial expressions, and gestures.
Portray and interpret roles, using speech, gestures, and body movements in order to entertain, inform, or instruct radio, film, television, or live audiences
Be prepared to discuss the latest entertainment, Las Vegas night life, casino events, news, sports, politics, stock market and mayoral facts; to include the Mob Museum characters.
Host civic, charitable, or promotional events that are broadcast over television or radio on behalf of the mayor
Analyze and interpret news and information received from various sources in order to be able to broadcast the information.
Make dining and other reservations for patrons, and obtain
tickets
for events.
Provide information about local features, such as shopping, dining, nightlife, or recreational destinations.
When Guest inquires about travel arrangements, comp play; meals or hotel stay. Contact Director of Host or Senior Host
Perform office administrative duties on a temporary basis when needed.
Pick up and deliver items or run errands for guests.
Arrange for interpreters or translators when patrons require such
services
.
Plan special events, parties, and meetings, which may include booking musicians or celebrities to appear
Attend auditions and casting calls in order to audition for roles.
Make promotional appearances at public or private events in order to represent their employers.
Devote himself/herself to insuring satisfaction to customers.
Behave in a positive, professional manner that reflects Play LV practices.
Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards pursuant to Play LV policies.
Display knowledge of all emergency procedures.
Inform managers on duty of any Team Member of guest opportunities.
Greet and seat guest pleasantly, quickly and efficiently in a professional manner.
Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the restaurant.
Have knowledge of all service Team Member responsibilities, including but not limited to the food servers, bus persons and runners.
Have detailed knowledge of the facility and its amenities.
Have a complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items including their preparation, ingredients, cooking methods, portions and prices.
Be aware of activities in dining room, including but not limited the service standards being used, the bussing of tables, station assignments, special functions, the presence of executives, and the availability or unavailability of particular items.
Remove debris (napkins, straws etc.) From the floors necessary.
Monitor door at all times to ensure prompt seating of guest.
Responsible for cleanliness of host/hostess stand floors, menus, and signage and special boards.
Have knowledge of all methods of check tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit cards, gift certificates ETC.)

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
