Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of the development life cycle from requirements definition through product delivery and support
Assist developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications
Provide support for existing clients SAP MII Practice delivered products, as required
Preparation and documentation of program requirements, specifications, test plans and scripts, user documentation
Deliver high quality, tested applications
Keep up to date with industry trends related to SAP Manufacturing Solutions
Required Skills:
BS or MS in
computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field
3
years of experience designing, developing, testing SAP MII (version 12+) software solutions
Experience integrating shop floor system (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Historians, MES) to SAP MII via SAP PCo
Experience integrating SAP ECC from SAP MII
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of/experience with: MS SQL, Oracle, HTML, jQuery, XSLT, CSS
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies
Written and oral communication skills; interpersonal skills; team player
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated; able to work independently
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of 1 or more shop floor control systems (e.g. Rockwell-, Siemens-, Wonderware-based, etc.)
Familiarity with MES architectural models (e.g. ISA 95, B2MML, etc.)
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with MES
Experience with 1 or more SAP Logistics module (SAP PP, PPPI, QM, MM, PM, WM)
Experience with SAP ME
Experience with SAP BW
Experience designing, developing mobility software applications, via mobile applications or HTML5
