Job Description:
Clean and vacuum 17 rooms a day.
Clean a standard room in approximately 25 minutes.
Conduct a.m. and p.m. room checks to determine status of the rooms.
Ensure the cleanliness and excellent maintenance of the GRA cart.
Dust and clean all furniture, picture frames, mirrors, windows, baseboards, carpet edges, inside and outside door panels, door ledges, and thresholds.
Clean under bed skirts, desk, gaming tables, and behind night stands.
Check and report all missing items in rooms such as hangers, clocks, ice buckets, hair dryers, brochures, and stationary.
Report any maintenance needs in guest rooms and /or emergency repair to the Supervisor.
Report any unusual occurrences on floors to the Supervisor immediately.
Clean and ensure bathroom, bathtubs, tub ledges, sinks, vanity, toilets, tissue box covers, and ice buckets are spot and dust free.
Sweep, mop, swift all bathroom floors.
Dust all lights and sconces, make-up mirrors, and lampshades.
Push a fully loaded Guest Room Attendant cart to transport supplies between guest rooms.
Perform Turn Down services on rooms assigned for this service.
Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
At least 6 months previous cleaning experience.
Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a similar resort setting.
