Regional Off Property Contact Director

The Regional Director of Marketing is responsible for the successful development, implementation and management of marketing tour generation programs for Diamond Resorts International . The Director is responsible for managing all functions required to support regional marketing operations within a designated geographical area. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, database management, legal submissions, compliance, cost control, budgeting, performance tracking & reporting, efficiency management, product matrix management and systems management.

JOB
Responsibilities:
Analyze tour trends through the monitoring and evaluation of marketing programs on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis through the review of strike dates.
Compile, update and submit monthly variance and pipeline reports to senior management.
Assist in the analysis and review of all marketing compensation plans as compared to budget on a monthly basis.
Assist in the analysis of operational and financial improvements for regional marketing operations.
Streamline and optimize operational efficiencies through the evaluation and improvement of existing processes, procedures & technologies.
Implement proactive measures and action plans to ensure the success of meeting the annual tour budget.
Develop (and submit for approval) all proformas for newly proposed marketing programs including program descriptions and cost analysis.
Prepare monthly and annual statistical reports of all marketing programs.
Update and/or manage the adoption of all company standard operating procedures for the Marketing department.
Ensure quality and cost control on all marketing programs.
Manage any infrastructure changes as dictated by the business environment.
Interact with National Program Managers to track all marketing program metrics by guest type by site, and monitor trends in these metrics.
Act as a liaison through site leaders for total marketing responsibility.
Assist the Regional Vice President to create programs to increase tour flow across the region.
Interact with others within the organization to establish business marketing best practices and SOPs.
Interact with site leaders to coordinate marketing programs including marketing contests and spiffs.
Assist Regional Vice President and Regional Business Manager in managing certain performance factors such as financial performance, efficiency of programs, etc.
Interact with Regional Vice President to assist and oversee performance of site leaders and to drive accountability for performance of Marketing.
Track progress on new owner acquisition targets.
Ensure highest possible resort guest satisfaction and maintain a good working relationship with other departments, resort management company staff and vendors.
Oversee resource management including, but not limited to, hiring, training, developing, motivating, disciplining and terminating Marketing staff.
Provide superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards.
Consistently practice the Meaning of Yes and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects.
Operate office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Ten (10) years of recent timeshare marketing management experience with proven track record.
Experience in recruiting, training and developing team members.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Working knowledge and proficiency in use of marketing software systems.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
Proficient in reading and understanding annual budgets & statistical reporting.
Ability to create and analyze reports for management purposes.
Ability to effectively manage departmental problems and situations.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to interact effectively with other departments within the company.
Good understanding of state laws and regulations pertaining to the timeshare industry.
Ability to analyze trends in the timeshare industry.
