Marketing Strategist

The Marketing Strategist is responsible for coordinating information and materials to fully align with the strategic direction to ensure the deliverance of the marketing materials. This full-time position will focus on developing relationships internally and externally. The Marketing Strategist we are looking for needs to have the skills and knowledge and experience that can take our marketing deliverables to the next level and on time.
Attendance at our Annual Conference, over time may be required, and holidays might be expected to work in this position.
The primary objective of this position is to ensure effective and accurate management of department collateral, campaigns, etc. to enhance the marketing and sales experience for our clients across all lines of business to achieve the sales goals that will enhance the value for our clients. This position is part of the Marketing Department and will report to the Marketing Director
In this role the responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage marketing timeline, staff, and external vendors
Encourage and collaborate with current staff; generate ideas; facilitate scheduled meetings
Participate in various team meetings actively contributing and collaborating on various projects
Collect, review, proof and coordinate various collateral materials (print and online)
Strong Copywriting skills are necessary
Assist with the development of marketing plans, special promotions and ensure key messages reach internal staff and external customers
Assist with marketing and promoting WVC products
Track marketing programs and evaluate effectiveness through reporting, surveys, focus groups, and other measurement techniques using quantifiable analytics
Review charts, graphs, surveys and analyze data
Must be able to deliver report with analytics
Coordinate email campaigns and evaluate effectiveness
Produce collateral and publications
Manage the coordinated efforts of the website ensuring regularly scheduled checks, site clicks, message is conveyed; act with a sense of urgency if their are inaccuracies or site is not working
Perform as a key player in the marketing department to work on special projects as assigned, develop solutions, make recommendations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in marketing, business administration, agency experience or at least 5 years of professional and administrative experience related to marketing.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
o Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other related programs.
o Must have previous work experience with large databases and/or have an understanding of how a database works.
o Excellent planning and time management skills.
o Excellent skills in facilitating and conducting small group meetings. able to understand the audience and knowledge level.
o Ability to identify future market opportunities, be creative, and carry through projects to completion in a timely manner.
o Basic mathematical and accounting skills to oversee financial responsibilities and budgets for this position.
o Maintain accurate review of project costs, and create detailed budget analysis of projects and financial resources.
o Proven organizational and decision-making skills to direct projects.
o Demonstrated analytical skills to assess projects or events and make-problem solving recommendations and/or decisions.
o Excellent verbal, written, and proofreading skills, including independently creating correspondence, reports, and statistical data.
o Experience working in a collaborative mode with a wide array of individuals.
o Able to travel a minimum of 10%Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
