Overview
The Pool Attendant welcomes all hotel guests to Citrus, as well as assisting in ensuring the pool area is clean and secure. Assists all guests at Citrus with towels, seating and equipment. Maintains the cleanliness and organization of all supplies, equipment and work areas. Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
Welcomes all guests to Citrus. Greets guests courteously and consistently.
Responsible for stopping restricted items such as glass, coolers, and personal rafts from entering Citrus. Prevents guests from bringing any items into Citrus that are not permitted.
Ensures the overall safety of guests at Citrus.
Provides enthusiastic, outstanding guest service at all times.
Maintains a strong working relationship with co-workers.
Maintains complete knowledge of various hotel outlets, in-house guests, hours of operation, and safety and sanitation regulations.
Maintains cleanliness, which includes, but is not limited to, picking up towels, trash and debris.
Resolves guest complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
Reports any accidents or unusual incidents to the Management and security in a professional and timely manner.
Excellent customer service skills.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Assist with job functions of other roles in the department.
Performs other job related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age.
Will meet established department appearance standards.
The skills and abilities necessary to perform within the position are typically acquired through two years on-the-job training or through related experience.
EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

TAM Card, SNHD Food Handler Card
