To continue on our mission of total customer satisfaction and internal efficiency we seek motivated individuals to join our team; we are currently seeking a Ramp Manager to oversee our Las Vegas facility.
The Ramp Manager is a hands-on supervisor that services the needs of the customer while ensuring the safety of the terminal, and maintaining high productivity. Responsible for ensuring that AAW meets the customer's scheduling requirements with on-time spot & release of trains, and timely grounding of autos. Manages the workforce to meet customer needs as well as profitability goals. Expected to work in a fast-paced environment where using superior management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the entire ramp operations including:
safety, administration, maintenance, and productivityResponsible for the training and orientation of all employees and ensures that every employee has the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to perform each task assignedResponsible for problem solving with local railroad officersResponsible for the staffing of all ramp employeesEnforces and upholds all AAW rules, regulations and policies, issues all disciplinary actionReviews weekly time and attendance and ensures data is accurate and entered timelyResponsible for all administrative tasks related to ramp managementQualifications
1-3 years of previous management experience
Must have exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
Experience in intermodal, transportation, logistics or warehousing operations
Strong Work Ethic
Able to work outside in all weather conditions

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
