IT Project Manager II

The IT Project Manager II plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve application development, application maintenance, network, server, or software implementation and upgrades.
Essential Functions:
Leads the planning and implementation of multiple routine and advanced level IT projects.
Participates in facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables of routine projects.
Participates in developing project tasks and resource requirements.
Participates in developing full scale project plans.
Provides knowledge and direction to less experienced staff.
Understands project budget requirements.
Understands the plans and schedules project timelines.
Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools.

Advanced level analytical judgment.
Customer Service Champion.
Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and Security rules.
Self-motivated.
Ability to speak in groups, lead projects and provide a dynamic leadership presence.
Ability to work independently to meet objectives.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Direct work experience in project management capacity.
Proven experience in leading project teams.
Proven experience in strategic planning.
Proficient in project management software.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment
Ability to communicate and exchange information
Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data
Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)
Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals
May be required to work extended hours for special business needs
May be required to travel at least 10-20% of time based on business needs
Certifications: (Required/Desired)
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or working towards PMP certification preferred
Minimum Education:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT preferred or equivalent experience required.
Minimum Related Work
Experience:
5 years IT project management experience with demonstrated experience on routine projects.
General knowledge of IT terminology, engineering practices and processes.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
