Administrative Assistant

Duties include but are not limited to:
Prepares budget reporting formulation, justification and execution. Provides financial reporting and management. Advises management and program personnel on budget and finance issues. Analyzes federal budget calls. Prepares budget package to budget office and responds to inquiries. Reviews and analyzes fiscal and budget data. Oversees and prepares travel requests for the service. Prepares procurement requests as the primary COR. Initiates and prepares contracts to secure adequate resources. Collaborates with persons and/or groups within and outside organization on complex program issues. Prepares and reviews purchase order for supplies and non-expendable property. Provides for the overall administrative management for the organization. Administers and informs the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police, and Training Division on administrative policies. Responsible for personnel management functions including but not limited to recruitment, classification, staffing. Serves as the the primary administrator of the police services annual physical requirement for the service. Participates as a Process Improvement expert and resource to the service and Health Care System. Ensure compliance and collaborates with the Chief of Police or designee on corrections and internal process improvement measures. Reviews the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems. identifies training needs and organizes training interventions to meet quality standards. Promotion Potential:
The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level as an Administrative Officer without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05 or higher, for the grade of GS-09, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07 or higher. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successfully completed one (1) full year of graduate level education, OR superior academic achievement. (Note:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
