Lead Program Support Assistant

Processes all incoming/outgoing correspondence, reports, memoranda and other forms of written communication. Reviews, edits, composes letters and reports for accuracy and completeness. Prepares public presentations. Prepares a variety of reports. Researches files and assembles background information. Schedules for the Behavioral Health Conference room. Processes all training requests. Orders supplies. Provides day-to-day instruction, orientation, training and work assignment to program support staff. Sets up clinic profiles to include cancelling and restoring clinics. Arranges meetings and records minutes for Behavioral Health staff, executive and Psychology Intern Committee. Collects, compiles and tracks data and statistical information. Assists key staff in preparing for external surveys. Serves as the back-up Automated Data Processing Applications Coordinator (ADPAC) Schedules and coordinates meetings and/or schedules conferences. Serves as the alternate timekeeper for the service. Screens calls and requests from patients and staff and forwards to the appropriate staff member. Arranges Travel requests. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06 level. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
knowledge in preparing, editing, and reviewing incoming/outgoing correspondence; skill in preparing reports; ability to perform research and gather information through a database; skill in setting up meetings for staff; ability to communicate effectively to leadership and program managers; knowledge in preparing travel requests. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
