PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Workforce Management Supervisor motivates and supports schedulers in the production of weekly schedules and daily operational tasks.
The Supervisor is a leadership liaison between the Workforce Management Specialists and management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Train and enhance the Workforce Management Specialists' skills to improve scheduling solutions as well as their personal growthCollaborate with department schedulers and department managers to ensure accurate staffing levels and to formulate efficiency strategiesDevise scheduling enhancements and create new business modelsDiscover new best practices to best utilize staffing while following current labor agreements and regulationsAdhere to all ethical and equity when managing WFM Specialists and various department inquiriesBalance specialists' workloads between weekly scheduling and daily operationsEnsure the Workforce Management team's completion of daily schedule operations, such as leave requests and call outsPerform other job-related duties as requestedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.
e.
telephone, copier, fax machineMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years related experienceWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysPREFERRED:
Bachelor's degree or work experience in a related fieldExperience utilizing Kronos, Virtual Roster and Workday softwareBi-lingual.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
