PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The SVP Global Sourcing and Procurement will provide the executive leadership and strategic vision to develop and implement an enterprise-wide sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management program and associated processes that optimize financial savings to the company.
This position is responsible for an annual purchasing spend of nearly $2.
5 billion dollars.
This role will also collaborate with key stakeholders of the enterprise and its lines of business to identify Global sourcing opportunities while streamlining and standardizing procurement initiatives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Lead the development, effective implementation, integration, and execution of Global Procurements vision, organizational strategies, and tactical plan initiatives.
Establish organizational goals, objectives, and operating procedures in line with the overall strategic business plans and objectives.
Developing and implementing short and long-term procurement strategies designed to reduce costs and improve quality and service while meeting company goals and objectives.
Provide strategic consulting and analytic perspective to executive management and key business stakeholders on market and product trends and developments as well as procurement strategies and risks.
Establish effective metrics and performance monitoring systems to ensure quantifiable gauges of the delivery of global procurement results.
Designing, developing, and implementing a global commodity management strategy.
Ensure that top talent is hired, developed, and retained throughout all procurement organizational levels.
Demonstrating a commitment to customer service, working as part of the management team to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time and at the right price.
Lead global negotiations and oversee sourcing project implementationsBuild organizational capability within the procurement and sourcing function to develop a highly effective team of professionalsIn concert with Human Resources, provide training and development opportunities across the entire Global Procurement organization.
Lead a high performing Global Sourcing and Procurement functionThrough internal and external periodic feedback procedures, measure the effectiveness of operations, including customer satisfaction, and propose methods for continuous improvementEnsuring that programs implemented adhere to legal, compliance, and audit requirements.
Drive transformation change in support of the strategic and operational objectives of the enterprise.
Ensure strategic cost excellence and drive cost reduction efforts through process improvements, contractual efficiencies, and elimination of wasteful spending; achieve annual cost savings goals.
Lead the analysis of demand across the enterprise to better leverage pricing and vendor selection.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experienceEight (8) years of experience in leading a large-scale team within a financial or procurement organization, leading the development and implementation of strategic enterprise-wide plans including transformation experience in implementing ERP or P2P systems.
PREFERRED:
Master's degree or advanced degreeProven executive leadership experience in a large, complex fast-paced organizationExceptionally developed interpersonal and relationship skills as evidenced by successfully influencing and leading change in a highly matrixed environmentHighly developed business acumen, strategic planning, organizational assessment, and process engineering and re-engineering skillsCERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
