Vehicle Description This 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham is #52 of 400 built in 1957.
It is the height of '50s luxury, with modern dependability through a restoration.
They were hand-built on a special line at Cadillac's Clark Street plant in Detroit in 1957 and 1958, priced and equipped above the Rolls-Royce at the time.
GM boss Harley Earl and designer Ed Glowacke combined features from the best GM show cars in this vehicle, including the panoramic windshield, the pillarless 4-door hardtop and suicide rear door configuration, and a brushed stainless roof.
An X-frame was developed to work the industry's first production self-leveling air-ride suspension, in conjunction with America's first production 4-link rear suspension, power steering, power brakes, power windows and locks, and front-seat favorite-position programming, along with air conditioning.
Every Eldorado Fleetwood Brougham was delivered with a full vanity set, including metal drink tumblers and magnetic tray in the glove box, and many other luxury accessories, including an Arpege perfume atomizer in the rear special compartment.
This custom is as modern as it is beautiful, and now has a fuel-injected LS Cadillac 6.
0-liter V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission, disc brakes, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital dash and a hidden Kicker Bluetooth stereo system.
Additional features include stainless roof, Dagmar bumper, detailed badging, side body cove with five horizontal wind splits and plush interior.
